Samsung, MTI Micro to Cooperate on Fuel Cells for Mobile Phones

MTI Micro announced on May 18 that it has signed an agreement with Samsung. Under the agreement, Samsung will develop prototype mobile phones powered by MTI Micro's micro fuel cells, which use the company's Mobion DFMC (Direct Methanol Fuel Cell) technology. Mobile phones powered by these fuel cells are expected to offer longer running time and instant recharging capability.
